They share the same 9.7-inch, 1024 x 768 display and aluminum construction. However, Apple has really shaved off some flab: the iPad 2 is thinner by about 4mm and lighter by over 100gms than the older tablet. It also comes with 2 VGA cameras, one above the display and the second on the back of the device. While useful for video calls, they won’t be replacing any digital cameras.
